Hedlund Builders Inc. has been focused on the construction of custom residential living since 1994. Our core philosophy is rooted in the old school carpentry traditions of fine craftsmanship, fine materials and a collaborative approach that engages our clients, their design team and the multitude of tradespeople involved in the process.

Our process is hands-on and personal. We create thoughtfully detailed and accurate budgets that guide every project. They are developed piece by piece, trade by trade, phase by phase. They are informative and transparent.

All of our projects are managed by our principal and founder Brian Hedlund, a master carpenter and cabinet maker. We have a long-standing relationship with our subcontractors and suppliers which results in a cohesive approach that delivers top quality.

We won’t over-promise, but we will guarantee our dedication, customer service and craftsmanship. We excel at problem solving and finding just the right balance between form and function.

• Custom cabinetry. We use only cabinet grade plywood and true hardwoods. We custom finish each build to your specification using lacquer, conversion varnish or paint.

• Wood countertops (slab, glue-up, live edge) as thin as 3/4" and as long as 20'.

Located in historic La Conner, Washington we build throughout the greater Puget Sound and Central Washington regions. Most commonly we are engaged with clients on projects in or around Skagit County and neighboring Snohomish, Island, Whatcom and San Juan counties. Occasionally we are fortunate to build on the dry side of our state in places like the Methow Valley as well as the greater Lake Chelan and Lake Wenatchee areas.
